Passover
2024

I made this 1:12 scale miniature scene to illustrate our 2024 Passover Haggadah.*

To create this content, I built a dining room space and a bunch of tiny props. The Seder plate, Matza and orange were gifts from a friend from Etsy; the chairs, pitcher, plates and bowls were 3d printed from files I purchased on Etsy; the record player is from Itty Bitty Minimart. I made everything else.

My husband Alex and I collaborated on the photo shoot.

(*At Passover celebrations, called Seders, participants reference a book called a Haggadah which tells the Passover story and is full of rituals like handwashing, lighting candles and eating specific, symbolic foods. When we host Seders, I usually design a custom Haggadah that’s tailored to our guests and the time we’re living in)

The photos in action

I created a 40 page booklet that included the traditional Passover story as well as a personalized twist for our event.
